Today we return to some great classics, Barbarian and Stargoose!
Both games are from the end of the eighties and show some of the ‘groundbreaking’ controls and visual of those ages. Let us know what you think in the comments below or on youtube!
Stargoose (Stargeese)
Star Goose a top-down space shooter where you fly through a semi-3D environment, shooting rounds and missiles at your enemies. Occasionally, the player can enter a tunnel and collect upgrades (ammo, shield or fuel), you can make ‘loops’ for the ‘fun’ and ‘cool’ effect 😉

Barbarian
You play the role of a barbarian finding your way through a dangerous dungeon. The game is played as a side scrolling perspective and also has platform jumping parts to it. The barbarian is can be play using a joystick (far easier!!) or with the mouse.
There are two weapons at your disposal. A sword which you start the game with and later a bow which is handy for long range attacks. There are many traps to avoid and various monsters who have different attack patterns. You’ll often have to restart the level to progress.
